|Adrian Hawkins: Director|
|Adrian is the Chairman of Weldability-Sif www.weldability-sif.com with 44 years experience in the gases, equipment, welding consumable, welding and cutting machine markets. Adrian was the AWD National Chairman from 2011 until April 2013. He maintains a keen interest in the safety wear used within the industry with representation of the Welding Institute on the EN 169/175/379 norms standards committees. Currently involved as a member of the HSE Welding Fume partnership tasked with providing a better understanding of the health issues associated with welding fume. Adrian is a Fellow of the Institute of Sales & Marketing Management, Professional Member of the Welding Institute, Chairman & Founder of biz4Biz - a Hertfordshire based business support organisation - and a Director and Trustee of the Hart Schools Trust. Adrian is a main board member of the Hertfordshire LEP and Chairman of the LEP Skills and Employment Board. Adrian is the Managing Director of Welding World and is passionate about ensuring that the Welding Industry is seen in the best light.
|Dave Ellwood: Director & Company Secretary|
|Dave is the Managing Director of Britannia Welding Supplies Ltd, Aldershot, Hampshire. He started in the Welding Sales Industry in 1976, now giving him 40 years' experience covering Gases, Welding Consumables, Welding and Cutting Machines, Extraction and Safety products. His Company Britannia, has been AWD members for over 27 years and he finds this a benefit for the business in the ever changing dynamics of the Welding Industry. Dave became actively involved in the AWD when he was invited to become part of the AWD management team in 2001. He became the Southern Area Chairman and held informative meetings in the South of England. After a period of 3 years Dave became the Vice Chairman of the Association and further progressed to become National Chairman of the AWD. He also holds the office as Chairman of the Educational Committee, and has a keen interest in taking Welding to the future generations of engineers. He was instrumental in the transition of the AWD to a Limited Company. Today Dave is Company Secretary and Board Director of Welding World Ltd. Dave is passionate about the welding industry and supports the industry at every available opportunity.
|Lee Darton: Director|
|Lee is the Divisional Manager of Extractability www.extractability.eu who design and install welding fume extraction solutions. He has worked in the industry for over 25 years and he is keen to promote the importance of safe working environments. Lee has represented the BSI as the UK expert on the working group for Part 1: Testing of the separation efficiency for welding fume (ISO 15012-1:2004) and Part 2: Testing of the capture zone of welding fume devices (ISO 15012-2 2000). Lee is the Finance Director for Welding World.

|Andy Bridger: Central Region Chairman|
|Andy works for BOC www.boconline.co.uk within their Industrial supplies and services division and is an active member of the AWD. With a wealth of knowledge across the industrial gases and product ranges, Andy is keen promote best practices across the industry.|
|Gareth Hawkins: South East Region Chairman|
|Gareth is Sales Director at Weldability Sif www.weldability-sif.com having worked within the industry for 14 years, and is responsible for UK, Ireland and Overseas sales, managing a team of 8 salespeople. He has been involved with many large projects, providing solutions to application challenges and assisting with the selection and use of alloys and equipment. Gareth is an active member of the AWD's Product Safety & Quality committee (PSQ) and is dedicated to the appreciation of welding as a skilled science.|
|Darren Isted: Welding World Editor|
|Darren Isted has been the Editor of Welding World magazine since June 2014. His publishing career includes 25 years spent in local media, 13 of those as the Editor of a regional weekly series. Along with his role as the Editor of Welding World, Darren is also the Director of Communications for marketing and PR company Jabbercoms, which specialises in providing communications solutions for a range of clients. |Jennie Mort: Events Co-ordinator / Welding World Exhibition Co-ordinator|
|Jennie has many years experience in the events industry and provides assistance to the Association to assist with the organisation and event management. For the last two years, Jennie and her team have supported the AWD and their Secretariat to organise, administer and provide Event Management for the AWD events calendar including their Annual Conference & AGM, Fume Focus Group Seminars and the Welding World Exhibition.
